Since it's at last "official"

I can now tell those of you who didn't know that my dear husband will be starting law school in a few weeks. The reason I have not discussed this venture on the blog until now is because my husband did not want it to be mentioned until after he notified his place of employment that he would be leaving.

This fact is the driving force behind wanting an abode that provides more space... so that Greg can have a place to study when he's not at the library. And since I'm now officially a workaholic, I'll have a place to work as well.

This is also why my layoff was especially scary. I knew I only had a finite amount of time to find something else before we had no income. Thus, the job that I have now is a blessing in multiple ways.

I am proud of my husband and know that he will be a fabulous attorney when all is said and done. And we're both excited for this new phase in our lives.

OOOOH CONGRATS!!!! Welcome to the law school world and being a law school wife. It really does go by SO fast. Good luck, Greg!

And now I see why it must have been so nerve racking w/the lay off. Everything always works out, though, doesn't it??

Tell him congrats! I hear the first year is the hardest - after that, it's fairly smooth sailing. :) Good luck! And yeah for blessings.

You didn't mention where! I'm guessing Utah since you live in SLC, but you know Cheryl-barrel up at the Y always teaches an interesting class...or so I hear. That is pretty awesome he got in this year because the competition was super tight. Congrats!
