Eliot Spitzer, once called "Mr. Clean" by political friends and foes alike, has fallen from his lofty and sanctimonious pedestal. If you haven't heard already, the now former governor of New York was recently tied to a high-end prostitution ring, via federal wire taps. Authorities have unearthed the fact that this fine, upstanding official has spent ten of thousands of dollars (some reports say close to $80,000) on hookers over an indeterminable amount of time... his last encounter falling on the night before/morning of valentines day. What a [insert whichever word you deem appropriate here].
At least he's not one of those creepy ultra-conservatives that I have come to despise... and at least it was the classic case of the politician and the hooker instead of the politician and the male aid or the random guy in the bathroom. (I really hope that the previous statement was read laden with the sarcasm I intended.) Still, I find it quite disheartening that these officials are so twisted, that they feel as if they supercede the law and the idea of morality in general. My favorite quote from him is the following: "I am deeply sorry that I did not live up to what was expected of me." YEAH RIGHT! He's deeply sorry he got caught and that's about it. The true tragedy in all of this is the fall-out his poor wife and three daughters have to experience. I commended Mrs. Spitzer for maintaining a respectful amount of stoicism, because I can promise you this, if he were my husband, he would've been promptly castrated. And thrown out. So good for her, putting on a good face for the public and for her daughters. I just hope she busts some heads behind closed doors. She deserves to.
Eliot Spitzer embodies all I despise in politics, and I for one think that the world is a better place now that he's out of the political sphere. Let's just hope that the American public is smart enough to keep him out of it... unlike a certain impeached former president whose raging psychopathic wife is running for president.

Wasn't he using the tax payers money for it too? Oooo, there is a special ring of hell for these folks.
Oh, and as far as Hilary is concerned...if she were elected (and god forbid that happens) I think that every month during that oh so 'special time' that we women have to cope with, we would be declaring war on random countries. I bet Canada would be the first to go...
You know you're a loser when your sex costs you 4 grand...
