Friends
Last week, I braved the better part of the Happy Valley to visit a friend who was in town for a few days. There was a point during college where we were inseparable, where I spent more time at her parents' house than I did at my own. Going back there to see her and her family was a lovely treat for me. And I guess it made me a bit nostalgic for my college days.
But mostly it made me grateful that I have great friends like her. Even though I don't see them as often as I would like.

You are right. Great friends are some of life's dearest treasures. Glad you got to enjoy some time with one of yours.
Makes me want to go and write a couple of emails to mine :). Or call them. Do people call each other anymore?
