On Monday we went decided to break the Holga out and take some photos of the beautiful flowers and grounds by Temple Square. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun taking pictures and goofing around.
I especially like the double exposure of the tulips and the temple! I couldn't tell at first if the flowers were clouds. Very awesome. I am so excited to get my first roll developed and see how they turn out!
Have you found that overall, more light makes for a better photo?
liv, light is always a happy addition to the holga... but i have found that my flash works really well too. if your holga happens to have a flash, it's possible to create a lot of cool images in lower light. i've even seem some incredible night shots, though i haven't yet attempted any myself yet. if you're using colored filters on the lens, i'd make sure you have a little bit more light than if you are shooting without them. i also found a great place to develop the film. i'll email you the info.
ash, i will give you the CliffsNotes version: a holga is a plastic camera that uses medium format film and utilizes light in unpredictable and interesting ways to create unique photographs.
