Not a fun way to start a Monday

This morning my cousin's new little daughter is having heart surgery. She was born four weeks early and thus has some complications. She's been on a respirator and her heart has not been able to effectively pump her blood. I don't know a lot of details beyond that. All I can really say is this: my heart goes out to my cousin and his beautiful and amazing wife (who, might I add, birthed their first child on their bathroom floor-- yup, my cousin delivered his first child by himself) on this anticipatory morning.

My thoughts and prayers are with them.

Sending prayers their way. I hope all goes well. Give an update when you can.

I would be an absolute basket case if my child had to undergo surgery like that. They'll definitely be in my prayers as well... Praying for peace and safety!

I am so sorry to hear of their troubles. I hope everything went as well as possible and that the baby is recovering.
