It is my honey's birfday today...

and this is the third year that I have been lucky enough to celebrate it with him. And this year has already been WAY better than last year, as I am not suffering from a nasty bout of food poisoning in our hotel room in New York that kept me (and, as a result, him) up all night. {Which was then followed by a five hour plane ride home with absolutely no leg room for my 6' 4" husband.}

I was contemplating doing what I did last year and expound a bunch of reasons why I love him... but I think this year I will save him some embarrassment and just say this to him directly:

I love you more than I thought I could ever love anybody. Each day I want to be a better person because you are so amazing. Thanks for being the person that you are. Thanks for loving me. I hope that you have a wonderful day today.
